KORE will be rolling out a change to all DWA customers on February 1st, 2022 to increase the level or required encryption for all connections to Redshift by changing the parameter on the clusters to requireSSL=require.
This change is being applied to ensure that all data transferred between a user connecting to Redshift and the cluster is fully encrypted in-transit.
In preparation for this change, all customers who have connections established to Redshift should review their connection configuration to ensure that SSL is enabled. Most tools default to use SSL and KORE has documented how to connect to Redshift securely here https://help.koresoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035753913-Connecting-to-the-data-warehouse.
No changes are required to KORE hosted Tableau connections for this change.
